About StudentAffairs.com
Student Affairs Online: Fall 2002 Vol. 3, No. 4
Before we know it, the Spring job hunting season will be in full swing.
After many months of development, the StudentAffairs.com job site
(http://jobs.studentaffairs.com) has been revamped to provide an easier
user interface for both job seeker and listing schools.
For the jobseeker the main difference is a search can now be completed
using multiple criteria. Under our previous system a searches could
only be carried out with one search criteria at a time. Resumes can be
posted--at no charge--to individuals seeking student affairs positions.
There are a couple of new features to the Resume Center (http://jobs.studentaffairs.com/resumes/index.asp).
One is the ability of jobseekers to "hide" their resume or allow it to be searched by job
hunting schools. Another exciting feature is resumes stored in our
database can automatically be e-mailed to schools accepting e-mailed
information. By simply clicking a button your resume is sped via
cyberspace to the participating school. Over 100 resumes are now stored
on StudentAffairs.com.
For subscribing schools there are many added features. For instance,
institutions now have the ability to change their institutional profile
information as well as their user name and password.
Corrections/updates to job posting(s) can be made without going through
the StudentAffairs.com office. Schools can now pay for their
subscriptions via credit card through our Merchants Account. No more
Paypal.com hassles.
We anticipate this season to be our most active yet. For information on
posting job openings, contact Stuart Brown at Stuart@StudentAffairs.com
or go to our "Frequently Asked Question" page at http://jobs.studentaffairs.com/faq.asp.
