13th Annual Virtual Case Study Competition

This edition of The Journal of Technology in Student Affairs is dedicated to 13th Annual Virtual Case Study Competition for Masters level students in student personnel administration, counseling or higher education administration graduate programs. We received 56 team submissions from 40 separate schools. Next year's competition will take place in February 2015 with registration details posted in the Fall at

This year's case scenario dealt with a task force on sexual violence.

Indiana State University 1st Place: Indiana State University

$150.00 awarded to each team member

Indiana University 2nd Place: Indiana University
Jasmine Scott, Larry Serfozo, Woody Lawson, Sivling Heng
$100.00 to each team member

University of Arizona 3rd Place: University of Arizona
Noel Hennessey, Deanna Meek, Kristen Cummings, Lysette Davis
$50.00 awarded to each team member


Teams were given the option of submitting their presentations in either PowerPoint (.pptx, .ppt, .pptm) or PDF format.

PowerPoint files can be viewed using some open source aplications or with Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer. PDFs can also be viewed through some open source applications as well as using Adobe Reader.
