Posted February 15, 2002        Student Affairs Online, 3 (Winter)

In celebration of the 5th year anniversary of StudentAffairs.com this April 2002, we are inaugurating what will be an annual Virtual Case Study Competition for Masters level students in student personnel administration, higher education, or counseling programs.

Case study competitions have traditionally been sponsored at national conferences. Participation has been restricted to individuals attending these annual gatherings. The StudentAffairs.com Virtual Case Study Competition allows graduate students-located anywhere in cyberspace-to take part in this exciting event.

Registration is free and prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. The registration deadline is Friday, March 22nd. Selected entries will be published in our Spring 2002 e-journal, Student Affairs Online.

We will be utilizing WebCT, one of the leading platforms for offering coursework over the Internet, for the competition. WebCT will allow teams from their respective graduate schools to meet "virtually" as they tackle the case study problem.
