Virtual Case Study. The preparation of this syllabus has been an
exceptional learning experience, and we are delighted with the
final product. The website itself indicates our competency with
educational technologies. The content of the syllabus reflects
our appreciation, first, for the potential of technology to create
a seamless learning environment and, second, for the problems associated
with the management of technology in higher education. Our purpose
was to tie theories of technology, organizations, finance, and
student development to the practical needs of modern practitioners.
We hope that the lessons, readings, and projects herein demonstrate
