The NACADA site should be a model for all professional organizations to follow. It provides detailed, current information about virtually everything associated with Academic Advising including: advising models, post-conference presentations, resources for training, and on-line forms for membership, conference proposals, and ordering resources.

The design of this web site is refreshingly uncluttered. The site provides fast-paced transitions due to the focus on information rather than time-consuming graphics. It is clear that the site focuses on getting the information to you rather than trying to impress you with numerous unrelated pictures.

Links for this site are all relevant as well as organized efffectively. There is even one set of links which provide interactive, self-evaluation sites for students to visit in order to learn more about their interests and the possible careers they might have.

The NACADA site does everything right and is easily the best location on the web for Academic Advising information. More web sites should emulate this one.
