The website for the Pacific Association of Collegiate Registrars and
Admissions Officers (PACRAO) organization is a basic site that describes the
organization including its constitution, bylaws, and leadership structure.
The information on this site has not been updated for several
months (and, in some cases, years). The information is quite elementary;
professionals wanting to know more about the PACRAO organization can find it
here, but they won^łt find much else. The only three links to related
organizations have all changed their urls and two have even merged and
changed their names.
This site is easy to read and to navigate. It is not cluttered with
unnecessary graphics. However, similar to the content, it is quite basic in
its layout.
As mentioned above, the site has obviously not been updated recently
as the three outside links have all changed urls. Links within the page do
seem to work well and most pages include a
link back to the home page for the organization.
Although the PACRAO site gives beneficial information for
professionals interested in learning more about the organization itself, it
contains few outside resources and has not been
updated regularly. Therefore, this page may be good for an occasional
click, but it can not be used as a main source of information about the college admissions profession.
