Plattsburgh, NY United StatesThis 10-month position, which has an expected annual work obligation of mid-August to mid-
June, will provide guidance and supervision to counseling staff and oversee daily operations of the counseling
services provided in the Student Health and Counseling Center (SHHC). Responsibilities include maintaining
Counseling policies, procedures, and forms, and completing administrative reports to ensure the continued
enhancement of services. Effective collaboration with other members of the management team to evaluate problems
and recommend appropriate solutions and offerings is also necessary. Attending administrative meetings with other
campus colleagues, ensuring the resolution of concerns regarding student mental health problems posed by parents,
faculty and staff, as well as the completion of clinical duties; maintaining an active caseload, providing counseling
and crisis management for a wide variety of clinical issues, acting as a mental health consultant, and maintaining
effective relationships with other health care professionals, faculty, staff, and/or families, are also included. This
position does include some evening and weekend work as needed. The SHHC continually strives to service our
